Multiplex and high-throughput protein analysis: Speed up your research and get qualified results
MicroBioChips devotes its world-class know-how to satisfying customer expectations and thus built a 6 step process that fully fits ISO 9001 Quality Management requirements:
1. SPECIFIC ANTIBODY/PROTEIN SELECTION
The clients select their target proteins or antibodies featured in a commercial microarrays in a tailor made microarrays. We also bring here our expertise to the setup of experiments and selection of proteins – antibodies to be spotted. Then MicroBioChips organize the clients’ biological samples transport to its facilities.
2. MICROARRAY DESIGN AND PREPARATION
We design and prepare the microarrays, meaning that we organize the experiments and spot the biological samples. One dedicated engineer fully manages your project under ISO 9001 requirements and is hence your privileged interlocutor all along the mission, from sample reception to after sales services.
3. PROTEIN EXTRACTION/SAMPLE LABELING
Then we extract the proteins (when needed) and prepare the biological samples in order to label them with a fluorophore. Depending on the microarray type (commercial or custom made) the protocols is optimized to meet your specific experimental conditions.
4. MICROARRAY PROBING
We probe the microarray with the labeled biological samples.
5. DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS
We collect and analyze the data according to the customer needs. For instance, we could compare one group of healthy/control samples to a group of affected/test one and evaluate which proteins in the biological or clinical sample present a modified expression level. All kinds of comparison could be made.
6. REPORTING
We send a complete raw & treated set of data and a full report which contains a brief recapitulation of the project purpose and an overview of the results, plus the detailed experimental procedure and data analysis, all the results, their meaning and recommendations for the next steps. Depending on the kind of arrays used (commercial or custom made), it takes 20 to 30 business days (from the sample reception at MicroBioChips) to receive a secure and password protected report.

The analysis could be done on commercial or custom-made antibody and protein arrays.
