The ageing of the population is of important society concern for a years and creates new challenges in particular from a therapeutic point of view. Thus, in 2010, about one French out of five will be more than 65 years, with a development of the diseases related to the age such as the cardiovascular diseases, cancers, and neurodegenerative diseases. These complex diseases associated with population ageing necessitate developing new tools.
Protein / antibody microarray technologies represent today a powerful technology to provide easy handling tools to speed up scientific research. Nevertheless, current technologies of biochips do not enable to test several biological samples on a great number of protein targets in a single experiment and for high throughput analysis.
